1000 Subscriber Appreciation Giveaway & Happy 4th!!! :D

I know that I sort of up and disappeared for the last two weeks and I apologize since it was two weeks ago that I hit 1000 subscribers! :D  I'm so thrilled you guys!  Thank you so much for all your support!  Also, I apologize for being so slow at getting this video up.

Also, I wanted to wish everyone a Happy and SAFE Independence Day here in the US.  Please be careful around the fireworks!  My brother actually blew a hole in his leg last year as a result of unsafe handling of fireworks.  Please be careful and have a fun time celebrating!

We're not doing much around here, but I bought a watermelon (one of my favorite things about summer!) for my boyfriend and I and we had pizza yesterday.  I won't be staying up late tonight for fireworks because I have to be at work at 6am tomorrow, so I guess I got my celebrating in on yesterday. :)

Good morning, everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday morning!  It's my day off, so I'm sitting in bed with a cup of coffee trying to figure out what productive things I will do today!

So, if you haven't been watching my videos lately, then you don't know about my 1000 Subscriber Appreciation Giveaway!!!  I'm not quite to 1000 subscribers yet, but hopefully I'll soon be there and I can begin with the contest.  Below are the prizes from LUSH!!!

Back from Jax!

Hello all!!!

I'm back from my little getaway to Jacksonville Beach.  I had a blast!  Here are a few snapshots from the trip:

Moving on... it's now time to look for a "big girl" job since I have finally GRADUATED!!! :D  I've already been applying.  Hopefully, I'll get a call soon!

I Finally Have Twitter and Instagram!

I know... I'm like an older person learning to use the internet for the first time.  I'll be sure to like my social media here on my blog for you all, so you can "follow" me.  I don't know about you, but that sounds a little creepy, but hey!  All the kids are doing it these days!

Also, I posted another (probably not very exciting) video.  I'll just put that down below:

It's just me giving my hair a trim.  It's really needed it!

Also, I've switched to acrylics on my fingernails because I read that the formaldehyde in nail polish can cause allergic reactions on the eyelids (its very thin, sensitive skin).  Here is my attempt:

I got these bad boys from the Dollar General.  If you want details about the price, brand, etc. just comment and let me know.  I'd be happy to share.  And call me crazy, but I swear I notice a difference with my eyelids already...  Ever since I took off the polish, they haven't bothered me.  Maybe it's the placebo effect.  I hope this solves my problem for good!  It keeps cropping up!!!  And while my remedies that I made a video about help, they haven't seemed to get rid of the issue completely!  I may end up making a trip to the doctor about it if removing my nail polish hasn't helped.

And you may ask how removing formaldehyde-rittled nail polish from my nails could effect my dry, itchy, red eyelids.  Thats because people (especially me) frequently touch, rub, massage their eyelids and even the formaldehyde in dried nail polish can cause and outbreak.  It's the number one cause of contact dermatitis (allergic reaction) on women's eyelids.  I'm sad to say I maybe have to give up nail polis on my fingernails... at least nail polish with formaldehyde.  Not all have it.  I know Wet 'n' Wild's polish is formaldehyde-free.  I'm sure there are many others.  I'll look into it.  And I'll be sure to update you on my eyelids!

OUCH!!!

So this happened as a result of leaving my hair dye on longer than I should have... I never really time it exactly.  I just guesstimate.   I've learned my lesson!

That was Sunday and it's actually a lot better now!  I still have a scab.  It's the same exact dye I've been using for over a year, so I don't think it's any type of allergic reaction... I guess we'll find out again in six weeks when it's time to color my hair again.

Anyway here is the end result!  I just love this color!  It's 6R Light Auburn from the L'Oreal Superior Preference line.

That's me before work on Tuesday.  I hadn't shampooed it yet since I colored it on Sunday, so that's it all vibrant and shiny!

My YouTube video of the week was actually me dyeing my hair.  I had a terrible cold and thought why night?  Here it is if you're interested:

Next, I need to tackle trimming my hair... Perhaps an idea for a video?  Also, I broke my iPhone screen AGAIN and I will be attempting to replace it myself. O.O

Long Time, No See!

Hey everyone!

Yes, it's been a while and, no, I guess I don't really have an excuse.  Here's a video that can catch you up a little on my life:

And, yes, that is a chicken.  I have chickens now.  I never thought I'd be a chicken mommy, but here I am!  I have five beautiful Silver-laced Polish chickens.

This is when they were not even a couple months old and going through their "Mohawk" stage.

It is SO hard to get a good pic of these guys!  One reason is because their head feathers get in the way and another is they won't hold their heads still for one second!  I'll try to get some better pics.  They really are some cuties!

I hope to be back making videos again soon!  I have a few ideas up my sleeve...  It's all a matter of getting around to doing it!

Hello!

It's been quite a long time since my last post, BUT I am back.  This semester is finally over with,  I did well in my classes (just found out a few hours ago and I'm so psyched!!) , and aside from working and a couple of responsibilities I have here and there, I am FREE for the summer! :D

I recently was able to put up a video last week.  I created a silk flower/butterfly bouquet for my Granny for Mother's Day.  You can check out that video below:

And of course, my Granny loved her gift!  It now has a new home on her kitchen table.  We had a wonderful day yesterday.  Snapped this pic after Mother's Day dinner:

She is so beautiful!  I love my Granny so much.  She is my best friend and like a mother to me! ^_^

Well, I better go check on dinner!
